Sustainable Storytelling
James Killick is a Dorset-based multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and media producer specialising in short films, commercial video production, photography, and immersive installations.
With a degree in Media Production and over a decade of experience in hospitality, storytelling, and event curation, James brings a cinematic, people first approach to both creative and client-led content.
His recent immersive project, Cryosphere: A Public Meltdown, combined documentary footage, poetic narration, and installation design to emotionally engage audiences with the realities of climate change. Designed around a hypothetical collaboration with the Natural History Museum, demonstrating his ability to build concept-driven, multimedia experiences that communicate complex ideas through visual storytelling.
James is passionate about ethical storytelling, eco-conscious media, and sustainable travel. He’s particularly interested in projects that explore the intersection of climate, culture, and connection through photography, branded content, short film, or immersive art.
Whether you're looking to produce a high-impact short film, a visually compelling advert, or a purpose-driven photography series, James is open to collaboration across the UK and internationally.
